Excerpt – The ART of Pushing FORWARD

Excerpt from The ART of Pushing FORWARD

We often invite problems into our lives without even realizing it. The people who drain us and try to hold us back—we let them in. We continue engaging with toxic individuals, expecting different outcomes each time.

The financial burdens we face—accumulated bills, unaffordable homes, loans we cannot repay—are often the result of our own decisions. We frequently blame life for being harsh, but in reality, we have created the circumstances we live in. Today, we experience the consequences of yesterday’s actions.

Until we admit this, reflect deeply, and become aware of this fact, we will remain stuck. Resistance will dominate our lives, and life will continue to push back hard.

The worst mistake is failing to realize that life is not an entity we can argue with, negotiate with, or fight against. Life is a framework—an aquarium where our actions take root, flourish, and multiply.

We blame others for our misfortunes, but we rarely reflect on how we contributed to those outcomes. If we had no role in them, they wouldn’t have happened. Life operates on precise and impartial laws, whether we acknowledge them or not. It is not life that changes; it is our actions, interactions, reactions, and perceptions that paint it in shades of black or white.

The modern world, the “Matrix” we exist in, is designed to pull us under. Whether intentional or not is irrelevant. I explored this in depth in my book OUR MATRIX DECODED. What matters is whether we engage with it consciously or allow it to consume us.

If you were face-to-face with a wild lion in the jungle, would you say, “Oh, how cute,” and try to cuddle it? Of course not. Yet, our current Matrix is composed of manipulative people, deceptive marketing strategies, subliminal messages, fabricated realities, and endless distractions—all more dangerous than a lion.

The false reality shaped by algorithms is not to blame. The real problem lies in our lack of awareness and our blind interactions with this programming. We let it seep in, only to later cry, “I’m trapped, surrounded by walls I cannot climb.”

Unless we make a conscious decision to live with awareness—to think and analyze before we act or engage with anything—we will remain trapped in a future that does not serve us. The feeling of being stuck, unable to overcome overwhelming problems, stems from our unconscious decision to live passively.

These accumulated burdens weigh us down, and a person carrying a heavy load cannot move forward. They become a prisoner of the cage they built for themselves. Breaking free from this web requires a radical shift in mindset. This does not happen overnight. To push forward, we must first remove what obstructs us.

It is nearly impossible to advance when we are consumed by unresolved emotions, chaotic thoughts, and recurring distractions. This new mindset is not innate; it is acquired through conscious effort. Our greatest weakness as humans is our tendency to forget the lessons of our past as soon as our problems are resolved.

We rarely take the time to reflect on how those challenges were overcome. Life presents us with countless lessons, but we fail to process them because we are too distracted. Modern technology keeps us externally focused, making self-reflection a rare practice.

In this book, we will explore various techniques to help cultivate this shift in mindset. We will learn to apply them through conscious thought and deliberate action, shedding the burdens we have accumulated over the years. This will allow us to navigate our future with greater ease and fewer roadblocks.

The journey will not be easy. It requires dedication and the willingness to accept that we may not have been living as effectively as we could. Resistance exists because we have allowed it to grow unchecked. People often resist admitting they are wrong, which fuels self-sabotage and deepens the cycle of stagnation.

When a person acknowledges both their strengths and weaknesses, they can achieve extraordinary things. Awareness of what to improve transforms them into a better player or fighter—because life, after all, is a grand arena where everyone is striving to win.

Few understand that our energy—whether daily or across our lifetime—is limited. We waste it on unnecessary battles while neglecting the ones that truly matter.

So let us now begin the first chapter and start searching for real, transformative solutions to the resistance that keeps us stuck—and, at times, even pushes us backward.
